What are Domosolutions?
Domosolutions is the family of products, manufactured by Watts Industries, that allows a combination of Domestic Hot Water generation, Cold Water metering, Remote billing, Pre-Payment of energy usage and remote monitoring and bill allocation for a District Heating Scheme.
What is a District Heating Scheme (DHS)?
A District Heating Scheme (DH) is any scheme where a central boiler house or energy centre provides energy, in this case hot water, around a site. The energy is then utilised by individual users.
Who are Watts Industries?
Watts Industries are a division of Watts Water Technologies, a multinational company specialising in the design and manufacture of valves and related products since 1874.
What is the Domosolution family?
The Domosolution family consists of 4 core products: the Domocal, Domocompact, Domocompact My Home and Domocompact Suite.
What is the difference between each one?
Each product has a unique role in the market;
The Domocal provides a complete solution for most dwellings on a DHS, by being able to instantaneousley generate Domestic Hot Water (DHW), meter the usage of energy from the DHS, meter the usage of cold water, provide a physical break between the DHS and the dwelling and be taylored to suit each application and client requirement; there are over 60 different types of Domocal available.
The Domocompact and Domocompact My Home provide a metering station for Energy usage from the DHS, hot water usage from the centrally generated hot water system and cold water usage. The main difference between the two units is that the Domocompact can go up to 25mm pipework connections, whilst the My Home unit comes complete with 15mm connections.
The Domocompact Suite provides all of the benefits of the Domocompact whilst going up to 32mm pipework connections.

The Domosolutions range provides all your requirements for a DHS plus it brings a few uniqe features:
- All units have a mounting template, which means that the main body of the device need not be installed until the end of the project, safeguarding it from any damage that may occur on site, plus allowing the installer to carry on un-hindered, with the installation.
- All units come complete with a fully insulated jacket to minimise heat losses.
- All units come complete with Energy meter installed, there are no hidden extras.
