Our next DACHS DEMO will be held on Friday, 21st June, at 11:30am in Greystones, Co. Wicklow. It will be no more than 45 minutes in duration and coffee in Spendlove’s Cafe over looking the new marina is on Kinviro afterwards! Drop us a line if you would like to attend.

Vulcan, Kinviro’s New Product

We are always delighted to bring unique, beautifully designed and well engineered products to the Irish market place, and the Vulcan is precisely that! The Vulcan, by German company CWT, is an eco-friendly, “fit and forget” alternative to hard water treatment.

We will be showing the product at the Energy Show on April 10th and 11th in the RDS, but please reference the Vulcan page on this website in the meantime. We will be updating this page with further information on the product over the coming days.

Successful Dachs Demo

We had a successful demonstration of the Dachs CHP at our site in Co Wicklow and it was found to be very informative by all that attended, persuading us that we need to make it a regular event for small groups! Over 60 Dachs CHP Units in Ireland

Two new projects pushed the number of Dachs CHP units installed in Ireland to over 60! Last week we commissioned a three unit installation in Ballinasloe Leisure Centre, Co. Galway and yesterday two units were commissioned in the Sean Kelly Leisure Centre in Carrick on Suir.

Commercial Micro CHP Field Trial Report published

The report of a two year SEAI trial of commercial scale micro CHP was published yesterday. This field trial monitored the performance of micro CHP installed in 13 sites across Ireland, 11 of which had installed the Dachs. As expected, the conclusion of the report is that the technology is mature and cost effective, with paybacks as low as 5 years.
